1Add bacon slices or ham and smoked sausage to pan and cook until lightly browned.bacon slices: 4-5, ham: 1 c (diced), smoked sausage: 1/3 lb (cut into bite-sized pieces)

3Put black eyed peas in slow cooker or Instant Pot .
